If you haven't heard, we got our building permit! (Woohoo!!) The project is now on its way with a lot of help. 1. The electrical was put in last week by Tom H. 2. Mark H came to extend the front step last week Saturday (the building permit required that we extend the landing out to 36 inches from the doorway b/c what we took up in building made the entranceway illegal). 3. I got the insulation and vapour barrier in yesterday morning. 4. Mark and I put the drywall up last night. Now its time for taping and sanding and sanding. In the meantime, both Grandpas (A and S) have been working on the basement on Luke's room. He now has an enclosed room that just needs to be finished off with some sanding and painting, etc. Did I mention sanding?
