Here are some of the the things that have been taking place around here lately. One is from this morning. Something called a sundog or what is scientifically known as parehelion. The frosty air and bright sun on the horizon make ideal conditions for this winter phenomenon.
Another phenomena that is simply amazing is hoarfrost. We had some last week. Every detail of every limb & branch is carefully outlined. Pretty amazing stuff. "He sends out His command to the earth; His word runs swiftly. He gives snow like wool; He scatters frost (or "hoarfrost" in the KJV) like ashes" (Ps. 147:17, 18).

Oooh, love the pics! We're always looking for the sundog on wintry, cold days. And have only had hoarfrost once so far this winter--would've though we'd have more since it's been so mild and wet. Looks like yours was nice and thick! Beautiful!
"would've *thought*, that is. :)
Wow, neat pictures! There hasn't been much winter here actually!
We have had a very mild winter too, for us anyways. :) No green grass and rain showers, but lots of days around the freezing point.
