Time with Hope Reformed church and our old neighbours!

Timmy and Caleb had great times together! No problems "reaquainting" - didn't seem necessary at all!

Some wild, boy fun in the hammock :)

I didn't get any pics of Laura with Rachel and Maria! Rather disappointing, but it was so nice to see those girls talking up a storm. Laura really enjoyed her time at church, too, with her group of old friends. The Lord has really blessed Laura with many good friends in her life - including her new friend, Miriam, here in Winnipeg!

Dinner at our campsite with Ralph and Sharon, Mark and Christy and us. And all our kids. A big, happy group :)

Girlies.

I made this black and white b/c my face was burnt and glowing rather unflatteringly :) But I couldn't let pride stand in the way of posting this pic of us three!

Sunday was a real treat. We got to visit our old congregation and fellowship with them all at a potluck between services. What a joy! So many memories there - so many good friends with a lot of history - so many shared experiences - such rich relationships. The picture above is not from the Sunday, but it is of Ralph and Sharon and their kids. They came to visit us while we were at Sandbanks, and they left Tim with us for a few days so that he and Caleb could have some time together.

Tuesday morning saw us on Sutter Ave, right next door to our old home, visiting with neighbours from our former neighbourhood. The kids had a great time with Devon and Jaden, twins who were in our backyard almost as often as our own kids :) And their grandparents, Kala and Cecil, became very good friends of ours. We've managed to keep in touch this past year and we intend to keep it up. Kala never does anything simple, so our mid-morning visit scored us a very full lunch :)
