'Vetta's little friend :) She's got a real way with animals - they seem to generally take to her right away, and she certainly takes to them! She's always happy when feeding or playing with or petting an animal :)
The trip was a treat - nice time alone with our family, yet also good times visiting friends and new friends. These times of refreshment in our busy lives are gifts from God and we certainly love them. But we also, always, love returning to the life God has blessed us with. This trip brought back memories of our trip up here - and brought back to mind some of our uncertainties and fears that we battled as we wondered what the turn in the road would bring. I had some prayers from last Sept. running through my head as I walked the same path through the campground this time around. Prayers for God's provision of friends for our kids, or for contentment if they didn't end up with friends. And now, walking that path on the other side of that turn in the road, I prayed a prayer of thanksgiving, from a full heart. The Lord granted our request and so much more. He doesn't promise an easy road, but He does give so many good gifts along the way. For He is a good God, who delights in His children. I'm glad to call Him Father.

Looks like you had a great time! We are planning on staying at Kakabeka falls one night on our trip. It is so neat how you had the chance to be in the same park, same trails as you were 10 or so months ago, and to look back and see how God answered your prayers and took care of you.
I really like Rich's new glasses too!
So cute, Cher.:) Looks like you had a nice time away! We are looking forward take up camping as a family, and are headed to Sandbanks next week.
Wow - you guys aren't really campers, are you? Have a great time! I think you're hitting Sandbansk at the very best time of the summer (Sept. can be great, too) b/c you get to fully enjoy the gorgeous park but without the crowds. Enjoy :)
