On Monday the kids and I packed up in the rain while Rich went to town and had breakfast. Well, okay, so maybe he had good reason to go into town during the packing up hours :) Something to do with the truck and leaking oil.

We pitched camp in a site at Rushing River (Kenora, ON) right next to a very nice playground. Since the water was too cold for swimming - we numbed our feet just wading for awhile - we knew the playground would be a big hit for the littles. The area has a gorgeous river, lots of white water, rapids, with picturesque bridges spanning it here and there.
