Grandma and Grandpa's visit!

Our visit with my parents was, of course, wonderful :) It was so good to share time together in our new house and at a time when we're much more settled. The first time they came (in Nov.) we had arrived only the month before and they provided a connection with "back home" that we felt so desperate for at the time. Now, however, they were visiting us here at home and we could just enjoy each other and show them our new city!

Above, Laura made a friend at the Mennonite Heritage Museum. Laura, being the tenderhearted soul that she it, saw this heart-broken, weary woman sitting alone and immediatly struck up a conversation with her. It was a little one-sided, but Laura perservered :) And Yvetta put some of her picnic lunch in the lady's lap :)

The Forks. A neat place to walk around. Perhaps better without a bunch of kids who really don't like shopping.......but neat non-the-less :) And the fresh mini-donuts are delicious! Lots of colour, exotic foods and wares, cacaphony of smells and sounds and sights.

I thought your first collage of pictures were of Laura with Grandma.
Just kidding... :) Glad you had a fun time with your parents, Cher!
